We tend to lean towards freeware on MajorGeeks, but StartAllBack is easy and quick to use, and the price of 4.99 is more than fair. If you don't activate it with license number you bought within 30 days, it will still work, but in limited mode: Start Menu will be blank and sad every boot you'll be nagged about evaluation period over. Any changes you make to the Start Menu can be reset to defaults, or you can go back to the Welcome screen and select one of the default themes, including Windows 11 default. There are no limitations in trial version. Once you do that and restart the system, you can start using Winget. To use Winget in Windows 11, you have to install the App Installer bundle from Microsoft. 🍒As expected: go to Control Panel - Programs and Features, find StartIsBack and click Uninstall. Sure, there is a bit of a learning curve, but once you know the basics, it will be a breeze to install, update, and uninstall applications and apps from Windows 11 operating system. If you experience issues with old StartIsBack on too recent Windows 10 update, just hold Escape key when logging in to disable StartIsBack. Then select taskbar and start button styles separately.
